Guest guest
Bruce: your choice of words made me wince! Let's not call it " partial starvation " . Better to call it CRON or some other " positive " name. The more moderate among us don't see it as partial starvation, but rather as eating in a more healthy manner such as the way the Okinawans eat. (See our " links " page for the Okinawan studies) . They eat til 3/4 full (accentuating the positive). on 5/22/2003 9:58 AM, rblagatree at blagatree@... wrote: > Partial starvation has been shown to increase longevity in rats, I > read somewhere - there's no reason to exclude humans from the mammals > presumably benefited by calorie intake reduction. Guest guest
Hello Francesca and CR ALL: I would agree that the word " starvation " is to be avoided at all costs. We are not freaks and fanatics. If we use words like that ... then we will attract people like that ... A good reminder ... and thanks! -- Warren > -----Original Message----- > From: Francesca Skelton [mailto:fskelton@...] > Sent: Thursday, May 22, 2003 7:52 AM > > Subject: Re: [ ] I'll bite - the new low calorie approach > > > Bruce: your choice of words made me wince!
