Guest guest
Partial starvation has been shown to increase longevity in rats, I read somewhere - there's no reason to exclude humans from the mammals presumably benefited by calorie intake reduction. While participating in a diet mod. study at UCLA, I went from 166 to 146 inside of 3 months and was eating plenty. It's clearly what one eats, rather than just the amount, that seems to determine body- mass. It does for me anyway. I hope to increase health and reduce unwanted bulk by replacing refined, processed and empty calories with more nutritious whole food substitutions over the near term. Then, I hope t reduce intake according to the regimens suggested by y'all. Lets see what happens. Best health to all! Bruce Lagatree
