Hi All,

Regarding WHO nutrition information, the below, I found to be of some

interest:

First, from http://www.who.int/hpr/nutrition/index.shtml ,

I went to the page:

http://www.paho.org/selection.asp?SEL=TP & LNG=ENG & CD=HNUTRNSFT >>>

http://www.paho.org/Project.asp?SEL=TP & LNG=ENG & CD=CHRON >>>

http://www.paho.org/English/DPI/Number6_article1.htm >>>

There I found >>>“Perspectives, volume 3 - No.2 - 1998

Creating Promise out of Longer Life

By Dr. Jeanette C. Takamura and Justice, Photo by Waak/PAHO”

The web page:

http://www.paho.org/Project.asp?SEL=TP & LNG=ENG & CD=OBESI

I fond a fairly interesting web page PDF in section:

SPP37/8 Obesity, Diet, and Physical Activity

Agenda item 9 for the 37th session of the SPP, Washington, DC, 26-28 March

2003.(21/Feb/2003)

In English (232.96k)

I was surprising in reporting that obesity was so much higher in the US than

Canada for the years given and that Chile was so high.

Cheers, Al.
