Guest guest
I'm with you Mike. But I eat the whole egg. I eat maybe 3 or 4 eggs a week and want the most bang for my buck which means the yolk. When I was kid I would only eat the yolks because of taste. It's interesting that the Okinawans don't eat a lot of eggs, so likewise I try not to have too many . on 5/9/2003 9:17 AM, Anton at bwp@... wrote: > (By the way, I eat two egg yolks everyday and throw away the whites > because according the USDA data they have virtually no nutritional > value, except for protein, which is so plentiful in other foods that > it's not worth the trouble, especially since whites should be cooked > to neutralize the anti-nutrients like anti-trypsin and avidin.
