not really. it's hard to take this kind of journalism seriously,

especially quotes from Harvard's Willett. I mean, think about his track

record of misleading the public. i wouldn't

draw any conclusions from this vapid article that just repeats common

wisdom and common biases. i would completely ignore this kind of journalism

and only read the original research, which is probably not worth reading.

i mean, i don't need anymore confirmation that eating veggies is good for me, or

that a

medium fat intake is good for me, or that they've found statistically

insignificant benefits to a smaller animal fat intake. this is

platitudinous white noise.

well, now that's an earth-shattering idea: eat a variety of nutrient-dense

foods, be physically active, avoid bad habits, etc. it's amazing that i

could've stumbled into this approach before being enlightened be these

amazing " diet/health findings " by such prestigous and unbiased

researchers.
