Guest guest
This test is not meaningful. Most of us can't do it. Start your ON part of CRON (ON only because you are so young). Have bloodwork done. After 6 months to a year, or so, get your bloodwork (fasting glucose and white blood cell count are esp. relevant). Also you should be more resistant to colds and flu. Other good indications are a nice thick head of hair (at least in my case) and better skin. I rarely get colds anymore whereas before I would get 2 colds a year. Even when people cough and sneeze on me - I am able to ward off colds. on 8/17/2003 8:44 AM, paultheo2000 at paultheo2000@... wrote: > In The Anti Aging Plan, Walford mentions a test where you stand on one > leg with your eyes closed. Guest guest
It's a good party trick. Seriously, it's a test commonly used to determine a person's inborn ability to balance themselves. It's a trait that can be improved with practice. (Yoga is excellent for this.) Does it matter? Unless you walk tight-ropes for a living, probably not, although good balance can certainly help prevent clumsy accidents. Stand on one foot, close your eyes...imagine a string attached to the top of your head. Imagine someone is pulling you up by that string. This usually helps. Also, instead of closing your eyes, try focusing on one spot on the floor until you get good at this. It ALSO helps to wear bare feet so you can spread your toes out!
