Guest guest
There's an article in the New York Times about a hormone, administered by nasal spray, that suppresses appetite. In a small study, it reduced hunger pangs. See: http://www.nytimes.com/2003/11/13/science/13SPRA.html Kung bushmen reduce feelings of hunger by using a cactus called " Hoodia. " Phytopharm, a small British pharmaceutical company, has extracted the appetite-supressing ingredient in Hoodia, and has licensed it to Pfizer. I think Hoodia has been discussed here earlier. See: http://education.guardian.co.uk/print/0,3858,4205467-102275,00.html If these potential products (or similar ones) are ever commercialized, and are safe, CRON may become much easier and more widely practiced.
