Guest guest
Hello CR ALL: Big portions of high calorie foods do not provide any additional appetite satisfaction -- Results of a Penn State study. Good news for CRONies... CR is not hard -- Just eat calorie-lean foods. Don't eat high-calorie stuff. You only get extra calories, and nothing more -- not even added satisfaction -- from high-calorie foods!!!! ............................ Big portions encourage people to eat more but big portions of calorie dense food -- the kind Americans tend to grab on the run -- boost calorie consumption even higher, without providing additional satisfaction, a new Penn State study has shown. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2003/10/031014071701.htm -- Warren
Guest guest
Warren, I suspect that these high calorie foods are not satiating because they spike insulin. Unless I skimmed the article too rapidly, it does little to disprove the contention that high fat-high protein foods are very satiating. - > Hello CR ALL: > > Big portions of high calorie foods do not provide any > additional appetite satisfaction -- Results of a > Penn State study.
