Guest guest
However, the latest edition of BTWTD, available very reasonably on Amazon or any other online bookseller, is completely updated with references to all the current fad diets, and he uses CRON instead of previous " High-Low " diet, among other updates. Guest guest
Rodney: a possibly even MORE relevant question is this: are members doing the reading that they should be? Reading Walford's " Beyond the 120 Year Diet " is required if one is to discuss Walford's diet with any integrity. At the very beginning of Walford's book, (pg 2) he states: " ......a carefully selected diet which ....I shall refer to henceforth as the CRON diet, where CRON stands for calorie restriction with optimum nutrition........ Guest guest
Honestly, I haven't read any of Walford's books yet. I plan to, but haven't taken the time to go to amazon.com and get it. I have finished _The Okinawa Program_ (well, half of it, the other half is recipes), however, and I highly recommend it to those on this list. > Rodney: a possibly even MORE relevant question is this: are members doing > the reading that they should be? Guest guest
Dominick and other: you needn't buy the book. It's available in most libraries!!!! Of course it's handy to have around for reference if you do buy it. on 10/23/2003 11:46 AM, Dominick at chiprunner1995@... wrote: > Honestly, I haven't read any of Walford's books yet.
