Hello Francesca,

Thanks for the welcome! I agree with you that people should be encouraged to make whatever positive changes in their lives and diets that they can make. I think your right that it will help encourage them.

Can we also, however, think of the most logical way to do this CRON diet successfully? I think for the majority of people, (90% say), that the gradual orientation method Walford suggested is the best.

Most people eat poorly to begin with. It will be too much of a shock to start eating healthy AND restricting calories. Then, I would suggest that even after eating healthy has began, it takes a few weeks to get used to eating the RDA for fiber!

I know that was one of the most difficult parts for me. I already was eating healthy but most people including me at the time ate less than a few grams a day of fiber. It took my stomach two weeks to get used to the extra roughage... to get up to 30g plus.

Brent: read the files, especially " CRON Made Easy " . That is exactly what

we recommend for newbies.
