Loved the article about COK. How is it possible,

though, to get enough calcium without using dairy

products? I am working on my bone mass, and

expect that to be a lifelong project.

Actually, I believe dairy may well be a poor source of calcium (fairly

low in mg/calorie and not so good absorption). Dark leafy greens, tofu

and especially sardines (with bones) may be alternatives. In a study I

saw, nurses who ate the most vegetables had the lowest risk of

osteoporosis. Oddly, those who drank the most milk had the most

osteoporosis!
