The nice posting of the ORAC/calorie has interested me very much.

Anybody out there using Cloves?

I'm reading that they would burn the mouth, so they probably have to

be used in cooking. Any recipes? What brand of cloves do you favor?

I'm told they only sell them in cans and bottles, not fresh.

How about Thyme and Oregano?

Anybody buying these fresh and eating them in salads, or taking them

in some other format? I have seen oregano oil supplements advertised.

Anyone who has some experience with cloves, thyme and oregano, I

would appreciate if you would share your experiences,

recommendations, etc.

p.s. not interested in the dried supermarket spices sold in the

typical spice containers; very much doubt that they have much

antioxidant content.
