Guest guest
This one is a very good one too: http://www.grg.org GRG stand for Gerontology Research Group. They clain it is not possible to retard aging in a significative way either doing CR. We have ** NO ANTI-AGING MEDICINE ** ** LITTLE UNDESTANDING OF THIS PROCESS ** IMHO it will be more difficult to cure AIDS than to find some way to stop aging. AIDS viruous is much more simpler than the genome of an rat (even considering mutations of the virous's RNA). But I believe that nanotechnology will solve the aging problem in the future: Theorically if you can put nanomithocondhrias inside each cell of the body than the cells would recover the capability of producing energy and the aging would be reversed. But don't be so inspired yet:)... Much more need to be learned about molecular recognition mechanisms and much more technology is needed for things like that took place. The Nobel prize of this year went to a researcher that discovered the structure of aquaphorins (molecules that regulates the transfer of water through the cell's membrane). Nothing that the future and the research cannot solve in the Glorious Future -- GAndhi __________________________________________________________________________ Acabe com aquelas janelinhas que pulam na sua tela.
