Guest guest
Warren, I ache to read your post. Ironically, my ingestion of vitamin A products over a half century was not immoderate-----just the amount in daily vitamin formulas. However, that was 15,000 IU of vitamin A in many. Now the thinking is that just a minimal dose, only about 2,000 IU's is plenty. Can you rebuild your skeleton with Fosomax or another product? Guest guest
Hello Peg ... Yes, Fosamax is helping me now, and I have restored some of the lost bone density. About 5 percent has returned over the last 2 years. The max restoration possible with Fosamax is a total of about 10 percent. Thereafter, bone density is protected, rather than increased. I do many other things to protect bones too with supplements. And new treatments (such as Forteo, a PTH Para Thyroid Hormone bone growth stimulant) will be coming on the market more safely in the longer term. Thanks for asking. -- Warren ============================ ======================== On 06 Oct 2003, Peg at hsanborn2@... wrote: Warren, I ache to read your post.
