Oh I love pomegranates, and I have also heard these are very

nutritious. As a child I thought the little gems inside looked like

uncut rubies.

In the part of the country where I grew up, when we split open the

persimmon seed we would find either a little knife, a fork or a spoon.

I remember my one and only persimmon. I spent an entire day scraping my

tongue trying to get the taste and texture out! Icky icky poo poo!!!

When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to look

like a nail.
