Guest guest
Just a comment on they why's people overeat. I think the biggest overriding factor is time and energy, as one poster mentioned. If you are working hard and don't have healthy food available at a reasonable price, it is very hard. That is the common situations in most offices, sad to say. Also, I used to overeat. I overate because it was a way to deflect stress- although not a very good way. I overate because I felt lonely or didn't want to deal with a problem I was having (didn't know how). Sometimes getting really into food was a way to distract myself from problems that I had to face. It was habit and habits are hard to change. I knew it was wrong for me...but it took a long time to change. I imagine that is what is happening to most people. Happily, I rarely overeat...and I am very proud of myself for stopping this habit. I never want to be "stuffed" again..as I lost a lot of time and life energy doing so. a
