Michele: we're here to help you. Warren's punch is in the " Aids and Tips "

file and SHOULD be in the recipe/beverages file, but I see it isn't. Thanks

for pointing that out. We'll get it in there. Warren can you post your

fruit punch recipe so that Doug has a " pointer " to add to the

recipes/beverages file?

Hello CR ALL:

Warren's Zero Calorie Ice-Cold Fruit Punch

------------------------------------------

* 1 quart jar

* Ice to fill the 1 quart jar

* Water to fill the jar

* 1 tsp of pure frozen fruit juice concentrate

* 6 drops of Sucralose sweetener (1 drop = 1/2 tsp sugar)

Place all ingredients in jar, mix with spoon, and drink.

.........................................................

Actual calories: Zero. The body energy cost of heating

the ice water to body temperature gives it zero calories.

If you drink several quarts of this, you will be freezing cold.

You will begin to shiver and shake with cold. Your hands will

turn blue. You will lose all feeling in your fingers. Your

toes will turn numb. Your body temperature will plummet.

It really has zero calories. Try it and see.

It tastes good too -- good or better than real fruit juice.

That's why I enjoy it and get freezing cold sometimes!

Note: The cost is almost zero, if you use Sucralose (Not Splenda).

Sucralose sugar is cheap compared to the fillers in Splenda.

Splenda (in the packets) costs 15 times more.

Data from gives the cost comparison.

Hi All,

But it was said:

" But - i don't think CR just means not putting in more than you burn

up. This is my point: you would have to have more calories running

thru the boiler. Like with professional ( big ) athletes. I do not

think running more calories thru the sytem is conducive to longevity,

even if you shiver or work them off. What got me thinking about this

is recalling when i lived in places that were really warm in summer,

how much less my caloric needs seemed to be. Also observing domestic

animals that live outside, how dramatically their feed needs increase

with the onset of cold weather "

Cheers, Al.
