I've always heard them called Mung beans, but yesterday I was told

that the correct name is Mungo beans, and that mung beans are

something different. Whatever they are called, these are small green

dried beans, usually sold in Asian food stores or health food

stores. They are very popular in sprouting, because they are very

easy to sprout. The sprouts are often available in regular
