Thanks for checking my ratios Bee,

Is there a way to get more carbs other than vegetables? After 3 cups

of steamed vegetables I just don't want any more. The 3 cups only

give me 32 grams of carbs, and I need 56. Protein is easy to meat

because of all the eggs :-) (in fact I have to have less meat than I

used to).

==> Elyse, unless you are underweight do not be concerned about carbs.

Yes you can get more carbs by eating more meat, but it is a more

expensive way to get it. 58% of protein turns into carbs/glucose in

the body.

OK, then I won't worry about the carbs (I'm not underweight). If I'm

hungry is it ok to have more protein then? I thought we were to try

and keep as close to the ratios as we can, are they more of a rough

guide?

==>It is okay to eat more protein if you eat less carbs. The most

important thing is to eat the correct amount of good fats.
