Guest guest
Bee, I noticed you mentioning that foods from the cabbage & onion family kill Candida. I love cabbage and I only use red onions but I find both onion and cabbage to be rather sweet. As a result, I tend to crave and eat them a lot. Could this be my body seeking out alternatives to sugar as I have no other forms of sugar in my diet? When is eating large amounts of cabbage and red onion cooked in coconut oil not acceptable on the Candida Diet? I am considering drinking the raw egg drink only for the next five days. Would you advise against it? Can you share some of the benefits of doing such a thing? Though the peeling of my hands has stopped, my athletes feet is cured, my joint pain is gone and my sleep patterns are very regular.... I still have a teeny weeny corner of toe fungus on my big toe. That very same toe has a bit of skin peeling from the tip. I am also experiencing dry skin since I started sleeping with the heater turned on. Are these always Candida related issues? Thank you in advance, ROM

If you are eating the recommended ratios of proteins to fats to carbs (including your cabbage & onions) there is no problem. > > I am considering drinking the raw egg drink only for the next five > days. Eggs are nature's most perfect food - see the Egg folder (it might be in the Candida Diet Folder or on its own) - and it's a great way to get good fats and cinnamon which helps control blood sugar levels. > > Though the peeling of my hands has stopped, my athletes feet is cured, my joint pain is gone and my sleep patterns are very regular.... Are these always Candida related issues? ==>Skin peeling is normal after something has healed, and dry skin is not necessarily solely caused by candida, but candida contributes to it because its toxins make all cells go rigid. Also candida sufferers usually have low thyroid and adrenal function (also caused by candida toxins making cells go rigid). ==>People who haven't been consuming good fats and adequate minerals will also have dry skin, even if they do not have candida. If they've consumed man-made fats, i.e. margerine and other bad fats (as listed in my article), their cells will not be normal. Most cells require 50% saturated fat in their makeup; lung cells require 100% saturated fat. Also lack of water in the cells causes problems. Drinking lots of it is not the answer, because it is transported into the cells via good fats and minerals. Lack of enough protein, minerals and others nutrients can also contribute to dry skin, i.e. omega 3, vitamins A, D & E., etc. The best, Bee
