Guest guest
No sure where that quote comes from that you wrote below. I heard it straight from Walford's mouth that he started at the age of 67. If so, it's not 20 years. I've changed the title of this thread which I find offensive, esp. since Dr W is a member here and used to read the list. I doubt he's doing that lately because of his condition, but nevertheless.......... on 11/25/2003 8:47 AM, Dowling at dowlic@... wrote: > Agreed that it's a moot point, but, " The 120 Year Diet " was published in > 1986, before Biosphere. Guest guest
I was practicing Roy's version of CR, per the " 120 Year Diet " in the later 80's, eating brewer's yeast with non-fat cottage cheese and yogurt blended with raw garlic and broccoli. One doesn't forget that stuff! " E-Mail is not to be used to pass on information or data. It should only be used for company business. Guest guest
Zack: Thanks for your very well written post. Unfortunately though, most news articles still are not accurate or present CRON as the best we have available at this time. The NY Times article presenting Dr W as ill is a perfect example. I haven't read the full article but the excerpt posted here seemed to point out that because Dr W was ill, that the diet was a lot of hooey. P.S. to all Please do not use the offensive subject line originally used for this thread in any more posts. Use the one in this post or something else. on 11/25/2003 10:25 AM, Zack Brown at zbrown@... wrote: > If he does read this list as someone said (or if someone cares to show this > post to him), I'd like to thank him for all the work he's done toward helping > humanity come closer to knowing how to live. Guest guest
Hi: I very much would like to echo Zack's sentiments. If it turns out there are proportionately more cases of ALS among those practising CRON, than in the general population then, clearly, that would be significant information. In the unlikely case that it were found to be true I do not doubt the information will very promptly be posted here. Until then, we need not be concerned, in my opinion.
