melatonin

As the veterans in the group know, I've often complained about poor sleep.

In the past I had tried melatonin and never noticed a difference in sleep.

A few days ago I again tried melatonin and am sleeping somewhat better, not

perfect, but better. It's possible I didn't take a high enough dose in the

past and even now perhaps I should take a bit more (I'm taking about 2

mgms).

However I have noticed a tremendous increase in energy. I wake up in the am

raring to go (which is itself unusual as I've always been a slow riser) and

accomplish much more than I used to. Is anyone else taking melatonin? If

so, any beneficial side effects such as what I think I'm getting from it?
