Guest guest
Tim: I have yet to be convinced that the ethnic slaughter in Bosnia was NOT related to Paxil. The clinical trials were done in Yugoslavia in 88-89, the same years that Slobo is now on trial for crimes against humanity. He's another psycho who was also under the influence of a psychiatrist, so it has always made me wonder if the ethnic cleansing killing squads hadn't been given this drug. In fact I wonder if Slobo wasn't on Paxil. It was also the psychiatrists who were behind the ethnic cleansing campaign in Germany -- in fact, it WAS the psychiatrists who decided that the Jews and the disabled were genetically inferior. It's why my mantra is "Psychiatrists are the beating heart of evil in our society."

Guest guest
Think of it this way...you are part of a new global conspiracy. Tim, LOL - you just said the magic words!!! ps. I was so unnerved of your news about the suicide bombers on ssris. it just never occurred to me. you said something awhile back about oj simpson. he was on ssris too? i really didn't follow his trial very closely but could hardly avoid it completely but i never heard anything about his being on an antidepressant. why didn't they use that in the defense? I met some friends today and started talking about the whole ssri - drug cartel thing and my one friend, who I haven't seen in awhile, said she was really happy to see me care about something again. I just didn't realise how flatlined I've been the last few years until I started tapering, so I guess there is some life left in me after all! Guest guest
I'm sorry, Roy...a computer whiz I'm not! ;'-)) There are three ways you can participate: 1) Seed Panel: this group is charged with creating original material based on the evidence found in the literature. They meet about 1/mo during the time the material/chapter need to be generated. Once they have reached consensus, their material is forwarded to the Nominal Panel for their consensus. If /when the Nominal Panel thinks a topic/wording needs to be reworked, they convene again until that part is handled. 2) The Nominal Panel reviews the material from the Seed Panels. When materail is available, they meet once/month to review it and reach their consensus. 3) The Delphi Process: this is a group of about 100 docs who receive, through the mail, the material the Nominal Panel has approved. In the convenience of their office, they review the writings and agree or disagree with comments allowed for suggested changes or reasons for disagreement. You can participate in one arena or all three. It is a stimulating process...I personally love sitting down with 10 - 15 of my peer and reviewing what we want to say to the public and insurances and legal field. It seems affirming to me. You would be a welcome addition. Join us. Contact Dave McTeague at 503 378-5816 with your interest. Sunny Kierstyn RN DC ;'-))
Guest guest
Yes, Francesca. And not only, as you say, " what their evidence is " but also, as Walford brilliantly points out, what evidence is worth paying attention to and which should be consigned to the ash can. [Where else have we seen a clear exposition of the different types of evidence and their likely reliability] Rodney.
