Well, that study was in elderly and sedentary women. Because of their

sedentary lifestyle, their physical output probably diminished rapidly

after 30 minutes meaning they were simply working longer but not as

hard. I think a fit person would definitely lose more weight doing

longer exercise sessions.

That being said, 30 minutes a day is probabably ideal from a

health/lifespan perspective (from what I've gathered). Exercise is

good, more is perhaps a bit better and too much is not so good either.
