Guest guest
How will the glycated tissue be resorbed? It seems to me that's a large issue, circulation and all. Not that removing it would extend life, but if it can't be resorbed, aging can't be reversed? Regards. ----- Original Message ----- From: Warren Sent: Friday, October 31, 2003 1:10 PM Subject: [ ] Where is the 140 Year Old Man? Dr. Walford's projections might have been optimisticabout the 140 year old man... But maybe not so,with medicine and CR science advancing so fast. The field of CR lab experimentation in the search for CR mimetic medicines is a hot field of research, especially with gene chip technology, where we now have a way to measure CR analytically (with numbers) in the lab by using the gene expression profiles shown in the discoveries of Dr. Spindler. His most important discovery: "Age reversal", and howit applies even to the very elderly! Your genes willreverse their genetic programming (reprogram themselvesautomatically) when you begin CR. It will happen SOON -- almost immediately -- and it doesn't take years and years. As you start advancing into the CR state, your body cells, as controlled by the programming of your genes in those cells, will start to manufacture proteins characteristic of a younger person -- truly a remarkablediscovery of "genetic age reversal and reprogramming" --when you begin and then maintain the CR state.-- Warren
Guest guest
Hi Warren: The article I referred to in post 8167 ......... " Demography of Dietary Restriction and Death in Drosophila " in the 19 September 2003 issue of SCIENCE very much supports your view that the changes occur rapidly, even when initiating CR at quite advanced ages. Very well worth reading if you can find a copy.
