Guest guest
I was interested in this: Baghurst said oranges have the highest level of antioxidants of all fruit, with more than 170 different phytochemicals, including more than 60 flavonoids shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and blood clot inhibiting properties. First it was blueberries with the most anitoxidants - then cranberries, now oranges???? In our file I believe we have prunes as very high (although calorically dense). In order to optimize our diets (and limit fruit which is rather high in calories, where do we get the most bang for the buck? I make a fruit salad every night for out " dessert " and try to include a little of 3-5 different fruits (I rotate the type) but I'm interested in where to put most of my limited eating of fruits. on 12/3/2003 12:41 PM, Rodney at perspect1111@... wrote: > http://www.cnn.com/2003/HEALTH/12/03/citrus.cancer.reut/index.html > > Of course the lemon contains fewer calories than the orange. > >
