Guest guest
Hi Bee, Recently I started eating some buckwheat pancakes. I have been on all aspects of the diet for almost a year now. So far, I have done ok with introducing the pancakes into my diet. I have eaten one pancake about three times in the last 10 days. Should I look to increase or decrease the amount of buckwheat pancakes in my diet? If so, by how much? Are there other foods I should slowing introducing into my diet? Thanks for all you do for me and the group!!! Many Blessings, Mike

Carbs are not essential for human health, but protein, " good " fats, oil soluble vitamins, omega-3, and minerals are. It is wise to maintain your ratios of protein to fat to carbs. It is best to start adding higher carb vegetables first (before increasing buckwheat or adding any other grains), like avocados, carrots, beets, potatoes, and others not allowed on the candida diet. Add one serving, or use them in soup or stew. After you are used to the veggies, you can have more buckwheat and also add some nuts that are soaked and dried first. Then you might try some hard white cheese, and so on. The best, Bee
