Guest guest
there is nothing bad about coffee (unless there's something new about it). And your conclusion below about its " aging " people is interesting, but what scientific studies is this based on? Coffee (in moderation as with everything else) seems to be harmless, from what we know at the present time, and even has been implicated in the PREVENTION of some illnesses, such as Parkinson's disease. Search the archives under " coffee " for past posts on the subject. on 10/9/2003 12:38 PM, margarinva at onslowbb@... wrote: > I know it has caffeine, a stimulant, which like with smokers and > nicotine can cause vasoconstriction leading to aging. Guest guest
The caffeine in coffee is known to cause forms of insulin resistance... which is obviously very deleterious to health. However, I believe certain compounds in coffee counteract the caffeine... so I'm not sure if coffee causes insulin resistance. In moderation, there should be no problem. - > I know it has caffeine, a stimulant, which like with smokers and > nicotine can cause vasoconstriction leading to aging.
