Guest guest
Hello , I eat a diet like yours too (Sears/Atkins type), with similar excellent eye-popping cholesterol numbers that amaze doctors. The best diet for controlling diabetes, keeping cholesterol beautiful, and in so many other ways, that we know of, is the very diet that you, I, and many on this list follow. I plan to stick around on this List and help others to understand where such excellent numbers come from. We all of us on the Support List need successful people like you as role models. You are certainly a role model for us to admire and respect. Please do continue to stay here, to inform, and to energize. When the measurements are done, then the truth comes out. We need truth like yours -- where different dietary habits are accepted and compared with an open mind. Let's continue to be 1) tolerant, and 2) forgiving. Let's seek the truth, and be helpful always, in all ways. Please stay with us, please. Your numbers are great, and they refute skeptics. We can help skeptics understand that truth comes not from words, not from allegiances, and not from doctrines. Truth comes from the lab measurements made on our body. You have shown us quite clearly, which is why we thank you, and why you must stay with us! A hero you are! -- Warren =============================== =========================== -----Original Message----- From: tikfanti@... I did not know that it had already been decided. As a sixty year old who is mistaken for 45, who has an HDL of 105, triglycerides of 35, etc., and who eats a low starch (Atkins) diet with no hunger or cravings, I will unsubscribe as was suggested by an arrogant and presumptuous listmember who apparently knows everything when even scientists who devote their entire lives to the subject cannot agree. I will find a more open forum.
