Guest guest
Glad you enjoyed it! I've been doing a lot more variety in the diet compared to my last candida diet in 2001. (Back then I ate the same thing over and over for 4 months, and much of what I was eating was WRONG!). The Mountain Rose herbs are really helping! They make almost every dish VERY tasty! I haven't been eating much fresh garlic, because I'm not far enough along in the program yet. I kind of consider shredded cabbage fried in coconut oil to be our version of " Hamburger or Tuna Helper " along with diced veggies and herbs! Shredded cabbage is a great substitute for pasta, in my opinion, and I might even try a spaghetti with cabbage for something new! (PLEASE don't try this at home!!!!) I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks! Doug > > Doug, thank you for the recipe you posted recently.
Guest guest
Doug, If you like spaghetti, you'll love the cabbage substitute. I call this dish " slop " but really, it tastes as good as spaghetti. My BF, who is not on this diet, took some time to finally try it, but now requests the cabbage version and prefers it to pasta. You can also try it with zucchini (sliced lenthwise, very thin--I use a vegetable peeler). I always have slop in my freezer just in case I need to make a quick meal.
