Guest guest
Hello , Welcome to Bee's wonderful healing forum! " Dry skin brushing " is a detoxifying method that can be done daily. It is very effective in stimulating and decongesting the lymphatic system, and helps the liver and adrenal glands function. It is a way to exercise the lymphatic system and get it flowing and moving properly. Bee has a great article called Dry Skin Brushing in her Treatments files. Go to files (you see on your left upper corner when you are on the forum) click on files, then scroll down about 3/4 of the way and you will see a Treatments file. Click on it and you will find the Dry Skin Brushing article with all the how " to " s and what " for " s. Try this link and see if it works for you. /files/C%29%20Treatme\ nts/ Hope this helps! I was just diagnosed with Candida yesterday and started > my minerals/herbs regimen and diet (depleting all carbs/sugars > incldg.fruits) suggested by my alternative health physician. He also suggested that I look into your online support group. ==>Hi . Welcome to our group. My, I'm impressed that your alternative health physician recommend my group. What is his name, city, etc. ? ==>I also caution you not to start on the diet too quickly. Your body needs time to adjust to changes so they shouldn't be done all at once - see the article " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php > So, here I am! I know this may be the hardest thing I have ever done, because my diet consisted basically of all the things I can not eat now. Especially, " Bread " !!!! However, I am willing to do my best effort inorder to improve my health and alleviate symptoms. This is my first, of possibly many questions.....Can you explain what dry brushing of the skin is and how it is performed? I do high and low impact aerobics four to five times a week, would this provide the same benefit? Because, I noticed the alternative to dry brushing is jumping on a trampoline. Thanks and healthy eating! ==>Aerobics will help, but it won't provide the same benefit as dry skin brushing. It is also wise not to overdo aerobics or any other form of exercise. That is because it can deplete energy the body needs in order to heal. ==>Dry skin brushing is done by brushing your body in a certain pattern, with a dry natural bristle brush. Dry skin brushing or rebounding on a trampoline are milder forms of exercise, but dry skin brushing is unique. That is because it helps exfoliate and invigorate our skin too. It increases blood supply to the area bringing with it nourishment and oxygen. Dry skin brushing will not only help increase circulation and elimination of toxins, but will also make a huge difference to the quality of your skin and it will look and feel healthier. Dry skin brushing improves the surface circulation of the skin and keep the pores of the skin open, encouraging your body to discharge metabolic wastes. The skin is the largest organ in the body that the body uses to get rid of toxins. ==>I recommend everyone to do dry skin brushing. The article is not on my Website yet, but you can find it in our Group's Files (left menu) in the Folder " C) Treatments " . Take good care, Bee
