Guest guest
Hello CR ALL: What is the current average male US lifespan? Average US female lifespan? What would the lifespan be if cancer, heart disease, and stroke were eliminated? Of centenarian males, what percent are fully functioning at age 92? Of centenarian females? Same question above for centenarians males and females 5 years later at age 97? If you live a non-abusive lifestyle and have an average set of human genes, to at least what age will you live? If extrapolation of the caloric restriction paradigm from rodents to humans is valid, what would the life expectancy of humans become? Why do the authors conclude the following? -- " Caloric restriction could thus be classified as a true anti-aging intervention. " Answers found in the Workshop Report, " Is There an Anti-aging Medicine? " , from the non-profit research organization, The International Longevity Center, Canyon Ranch Series; New York, 2001. http://www.ilcusa.org/_lib/pdf/pr20011101.pdf For other good reports about aging, see: http://www.ilcusa.org/pub/books.htm -- Warren
