I recommend taking a smaller dose of niacin at one time, space thoughout the day, i.e. 100 mg 3 times a day. I've been taking niacin for about 25 years and I do not get that cold feeling afterward, but I do not take more than 250 mg at a time (when I think I need it), otherwise I take 100 mg once a day. I think the cold feeling afterward may be related to other problems due to poor health involving the thyroid, lymphatic system, and the structure of the body's cells too. As you progress on this program, and IF you take smaller doses, the cold feeling should improve. With love, Bee
Guest guest
Dear Bee, Just wanted to thank you for your advice. It worked! I've cut the dose back to 100mg thrice daily. And I've taken my jumpers off for the first time in over a month!
