Guest guest
Hello Sir/Madam (New Beginners), A good general rule for all humans (Please do it): *** Live like a peasant (minimalist living) *** That means a fistful size of lean meat a day, made into a soup using low calorie vegetables, like onion, cabbage, carrot, okra, broccoli, string bean, etc. Minimize/avoid grains, legumes, tubers. Use Warren's soup-pot recipe (with the spices and broth ideas he recommends), so you can make soup in 10 minutes that will last you for 3 days. Eat all you want. This will make CR easy, tasty, and save you many hours. Plus save you money too. Use either fresh or frozen veggies that are low cost. Frozen saves the work of peeling and chopping. The soups are delicious, filling, convenient, and keep you happy and full. ALWAYS keep soup on hand. Prepare in advance. Healthy soup will clean you (detox you slowly), will protect you against too rapid a dietary change (very gentle), and provide a healthy way to eat for the rest of your life. Ask me for more ideas later, after a month or two. -- Warren NOTE: If you want a medically sound scientific startup program that measures body health parameters, measures calories, computes nutritional adequacy, tracks your BMI, and where scientists will be examining your data, please contact me off-list or ask on-list. The expense is small, but your safety and long-term health are better protected. A scientific startup means Tier-2 medical testing, a food scale, weight tracking, nutrition software, and study of a few basic CR texts beyond Dr. Roy Walford's basic, " Human CR How to Book " entitled: Beyond the 120 Year Diet. ============================== =========================== Sir/Madam New Beginner wrote: > > > Hi Warren: > > I saw the piece on 20/20 the other night and I am very much > interested in starting on this journey to healthy eating and living. > My main goal is to lose some weight but I don't know where and how to > start.
