Guest guest
Hi all, I'm trying to do a vitamin c flush today because i'm feeling pretty terrible, assuming it's die-off. However, i've had only two lots of the 1tsp of ascorbic acid and bicarb of soda and i'm getting severe indigestion. A lot of wind from both directions, and pain and bloating. What is this? I thought bicarb of soda was supposed to ease indigestion? Matt

Maybe wait until later to do the Vitamin C flush and stay with the diet plus supplements awhile longer before trying again. Bee
Guest guest
Thanks Bee. I wondered though – if I was able to tolerate it, even though it was uncomfortable, would you advise going through it on occasion or waiting until later so the symptoms aren’t so bad? Obviously I can’t do it on a work day, but on the weekend I could suffer through some uncomfortable die-off if it means I’ll heal quicker. I also know the best way to do it is to boost the immune system, which I will continue to do (this diet will be a lifestyle change for me), but surely healing will occur quicker if there is less Candida, right? No, healing does not occur quicker if there is less candida. I've seen this time and time again with many people, and those who take lots of antifungals or do cleanses, etc. do not cure candida any quicker. One for one it takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unhealthy. Cheers, Bee
