Guest guest
Debby, Mine was high at the start of AIH when all liver numbers were totally out of whack. LFT's ranged from 1800 to 2000. They told me to have it recheck after things settled down that elevated LFT's could cause a false reading on the iron levels. They checked it after LFT's began to drop and all went back to normal. I certainly would mention it to my GI doc.

Guest guest
Hi my iron levels are always high. At one point they were worried I might have hemochroatosis. As long as they don't get to to high they don't usually worry. Goodluck. the WV hillbilly

Guest guest
Hullo Pooi Yee, This lady did the diet which I'm trying to teach daddy. Her name is Maddalena. SHe was blind at a young age. REad her improvement in BOLD letter about her eyes below. Joo stardust <snowdrops@...> wrote: Hi, sorry but I don't know your name. Thanks for reading my story, hope it will inspire you in trying your best to stay on Bee's diet. As Bee says, it takes 1 month from the time one has been on the full diet for every year one has been sick to fully recover. Since I'm no longer a spring chicken and have been sick with candida since the day I was born if not before. I have another 2.5 years before I can say: " I'm fully recovered " . I don't mean to scare you because the time goes by so fast that you don't even realize you've been doing the diet for so long. Yes. I've seen huge improvements during the almost two years on the diet, in a couple of weeks I will be celebrating my 2nd anniversary on the diet. However, I still have a lot of healing to do still. Some of the major improvements I've seen to date are: * Iron level has never been better. * My eyes are getting healthier/stronger although I'm still blind. Let me explain: On my last eye examination (last Oct/Nov.) my optometrist told me that the eye tissue is getting thicker, which minimizes the risk of me getting a retina detachment or the PVD (having a senior moment at present, can't say what that stands for). * I no longer feel bloated, GI distension, pregnant looking, gas, rectum/vaginal itchiness, sweaty hands and feet during summer and winter. * I no longer have allergy reactions to food that I once did. * No more constant stomach/liver pains. * Fingertips are not longer peeling raw, bleeding and terribly sore. * Was able to do light exercise after almost 30 years. * Don't have any more environmental and food allergies allergies. * Chronic back pain is almost gone, once in a while it reminds me to take it slowly. * Minimal hair loss, both my hair and skin look much healthier (I do not use any creams or make-up). * Most important that the 2' inch lumps I had in my left breast are no longer there. I better stop writing otherwise it will turn into a book. Hope this will help you stay focus. Good luck, Maddalena
