Guest guest
I'd like to give my favorite eating tips for the holidays and hope others will join in with their favorites. 1. I " sample " everything. I take slivers of the desserts (and usually decide i'm not missing much since most are way too sweet for me at this point). 2. I fill up mostly on the salads and the veggies. I go light on everything else. 3. I make sure that fruit and nuts are available (along with the pies and high calorie foods) for dessert . Since I usually host the Thanksgiving feast, I make my own home made cranberry sauce using Sucralose (very easy and delicious). The only thing I have to watch out for is not to imbibe too much on what others bring to the feast (since I'm sure they don't spare the sugar, butter etc). Also I start the dinner with a home made and healthy Turkey soup made from vegetables and turkey giblets. This helps to keep me from eating too much of the bad stuff.
