Guest guest
Jody: check the archives for previous posts on this subject. If I recall correctly there is no basis for these claims. In fact this is an " old " fad from several years ago which is no longer even popular......Atkins etc is a more popular fad right now. on 11/23/2003 2:51 AM, Jody Mack at jdmac@... wrote: > Is there any truth to the claims set forth in " Eat Right 4 Your Type " ? Guest guest
Hi Jody: Here is a suggestion as to how you can answer your question for yourself, as well as any other similar question relating to any other kind of nutrition advice: Re-read the early chapters of Dr. Walford's 'Beyond the 120-Year Diet' that are concerned with *** THE NATURE OF EVIDENCE ***. For me this is one of the most wonderful parts of the entire book. It deals with what different types of 'evidence' there are, and how to differentiate between those that are very much worth paying attention to, and those that are much more than likely worthless. Having read that, then apply what Walford suggests about the kinds of evidence you should, or should not, take seriously to the stuff you are reading. Do they provide ANYTHING AT ALL that could be called evidence? If so, is it the kind of evidence that is worth a hill of beans? Or not? ly, for me, pretty much the only evidence I think is worth much is carefully controlled experiments (done with humans, or animals we have reason to believe are likely to respond similarly to humans) that compare what happens to those on the chosen diet compared with those on a 'normal' diet. Specifically, whether those on the recommended diet are either healthier, or live longer, than those on a 'normal' diet. I have not read the stuff you are referring to. But I would be prepared to bet you ten-whole-grain-pitas-to-one that they provide next to nothing that qualifies as serious evidence. But I am open- minded about it if that is not correct. On a similar note, about a month ago I emailed a company producing a major, widely promoted through breeders and veterinarians, and very expensive, brand of cat food (Iams is the name of the brand). I asked them if they would be kind enough to supply me with references to any studies that showed that cats fed their cat food are healthier or live longer than cats fed the other, major, 'nutritionally complete', and much less expensive brands. You can probably guess what their response was. The didn't even answer. Needless to say, if they had any such evidence they would have been brimming over with enthusiasm to supply information to a potential customer whose cat would likely live another twenty years. But guess why I have recently started on CRON ........... It is because of the extensive and carefully controlled studies that have repeatedly shown huge benefits of CRON in many species, including mammals (rats, mice, dogs, monkeys) fairly closely related to us humans. Rodney. > Is there any truth to the claims set forth in " Eat Right 4 Your Type " ? I finally got it (from library) and it freaked me out a bit - as a Type A I'm' not supposed to eat tomatoes? I LOVE tomatoes and everything made from them....

Guest guest
I am type O & I am severely EHS. Loni From: Emil at Less EMF Inc <lessemf@...> Subject: blood type? Date: Monday, September 27, 2010, 12:26 PM Â I just received a call from an iridologist who noticed a predominance of type A blood type among her clients with ES. She suspects that blood type A makes a person more susceptible. If that is the case, we should see a higher than normal occurance of type A among the group. It would also have major diagnostic implications. Mind sharing your blood type? Emil
