Guest guest
Hello Terry, Welcome to Bee's group. Bee's egg Drink both travels and stores well as long as you keep it refrigerated. Just shake it up when it is time to drink it and enjoy. Hope this helps! :-) Debra NW " Terry Gaidis " <terrygaidis@...> wrote: Hi Bee, New to the group and wondering if it is ok to prepare the raw egg drink and take to work. Thanks! Guest guest
Debra, Actually it travels well hot / warm in a thermos. I make a batch for Sammuel at about 10pm and store it in 2 thermoses. Then he drinks one a 5am and takes the other with him which we won't drink until about 7pm. He sometimes has it during the afternoon but now usually. Guest guest
Thanks for catching that, you are so right ! LOL I don't often take it with me warm as I make up two days worth for my son and I and keep it in the fridge so it is handy to grab as we run out the door. We do have some wonderful stainless big mouth thermos's that we take it in once in a while or our hot soup. We also keep our travel ready containers of VCO, Celtic salt, etc. :-) How's your move going? Guest guest
Debra, What do you think is the maximum amount of time it will keep in a fridge? I need to make some as far ahead as I can. Guest guest
Hello Elyse, I wouldn't keep it longer than 2 days. We often make up a two day supply when we are real busy and it does fine. We put it in 8 pint canning jars (which is a two day supply for two people) hot right out of the blender, put lids on and put them right in the fridge. We both have a hot drink when we make it and drink the rest cold over the next two days. (When it is cold, you need to shake it up a bit before you drink it.) Since it is hot when we make it, the lids seem to seal themselves and pop when we take them off later to have our drink. Hope this helps. :-) Debra NW macedgeca <macedgeca@...> wrote: Debra, What do you think is the maximum amount of time it will keep in a fridge? I need to make some as far ahead as I can.
