Guest guest
>What about pork? Hi Jecca, I do eat pork, turkey, and fish, but don't want to overdue it on the fish consumption. I also ordered some ostrich and buffalo hoping it won't cause a reaction. I just can't get as much fat out of them as I would like. I will have to try and find a butcher and just buy fat and render it. Or deal with the reaction - with the meat I don't get pain, I get a very distended stomach and water retention in my lower body. It's uncomfortable and I don't like it. The next day it's typically gone so maybe I could stick to eating those at night when I am just home anyhow. a
Guest guest
<snippet> I, myself, struggled with it for some time, but now, I just deal with the bloating. And even though it was really bad for a time, I now have days where its gone, even when I eat foods that use to cause it. So I do see progress, its just not as fast as I would like it to be. So, I think your idea of only eating foods that make you bloated at night is a good compromise. I hope that works for you. " ) Jecca <snippet> Hi Jecca, Thank you for the feed back. That is encouraging. So you kept eating the foods that caused you to get the abdominal distention on a regular basis and eventually it lessened or went away completely? I guess I am still used to avoiding them from my food rotation days when my doc said it's an allergy. I just hate looking and feeling this way but maybe it's part of God's plan to help me get over my body image issues, who knows. Thanks again, your input and feedback is very valuable and helpful. a
