Guest guest
I eat very little in the way of grains and have not eaten much since I began back in April of 2003. I eat a little more protein than I used to....a greater quantity of nuts...flaxseed flour and seeds, more vegetables and more fruit. You simply must make it up with other foods and I think for me, nuts have filled that gap very well. I keep a supply of several different kinds of nuts around me all the time. A couple of times a week...I make a big, wonderful Vanilla Almond pancake with pecans and more almonds in it. It contains, flaxseed flour, soy flour, almond flour, and egg and some other good ingredients... But I eat no rice, potatoes, pasta, and bread only if it is especially made to be low carbohydrate...and has good fiber content. This is working very well for me. Guest guest
Sure. No grains is no problem. I eat alot of veggies, especially fresh greens with tomato based sauce, fruit, protein (fish, vegetable, egg, occasionally other such as grass fed beef), nuts. I don't have a breakdown of how much carb and fiber I eat, but carb is moderate- mostly vegetables and fruit, and fiber is high. >From: " temma675 " <temma675@...> >Reply- > >Subject: [ ] calling all who dont eat grains >Date: Wed, 21 Jan 2004 07:54:31 -0000 > >Hi, everybody. > >If there's anyone out there who doenst eat grains can you give me >some help. > >I would like to know if its manageble to do a CR without consuming >any (or very little) grain.
