As far as I know, ALL types of Vanilla will brown, unless you make the

sinthetic version.

Some antioxidants such as BHT can slow down the browning effect. I

used it once when I made my massage body oil .Or you can use vit C,

but it will be expensive. Dont use Vit E, it will also brown.

Is that an aphrodisiac body lotion? Because some friends from the

Philipphines told me it's the kind of fragrance that can arouse sexual

desire.

Where do people get their vanilla beans? I haven't had any luck. I bought

some at whole foods and they were as hard as a rock. There was no way I

could open the pod.

Hello Irene,

Actually, you can put your vanilla beans in a coffee mill to grind and

use

them that way. Works just as well and you have less waste that way too!

I bought some from Mountain Rose Herbs and they are great quality.
