Guest guest
145/90 isn't TOO high. It's considered " borderline, " I think. When I was younger (as early as age 19) I had high blood pressure, palpatations, panick attacks, etc... for several years that eventually stopped as the candida progressed to something else. When I was 20, at one point my BP was 160/100, but that was caused by the hot summer of 1988, and I would play basketball in the summer afternoons and drink beer in the evenings. (Ends up I drank and sweated out most of my body's minerals... especially magnesium and potassium!) I went to specialists in Knoxville (I lived in Virginia at the time) and they put me on blood pressure medicine, and it continued to get worse and worse. But then I had a dream one night, and a beautiful girl introduced herself to me as my guardian angel. She told me to take Maalox, and she showed me the bowl of oatmeal I was preparing... that I had 3 tablespoons of margarine and tons of brown sugar in it... and she told me to quit eating like that. (That's how I always prepared my oatmeal!) Anyway, I got a book from the library (for some reason) about trace elements, hair analysis and nutrition... and I noticed that magnesium could help the body/heart/muscles relax. I followed the angel's advice and started taking Maalox, because I saw it had magnesium in it. Within 2 weeks, my blood pressure came down from 160/100 to 120/70. I went to see the doctor in Knoxville for my last appointment, and told him the angel story, and my theory about sweating/drinking and losing all my body's minerals. His exact words were, " I believe your angel was right!! " I had heart palpatations very bad a couple of years ago for a period of one month. It was due to coloring my hair blonde, and a reaction to those chemicals. Ever since, I began accepting my graying hair. I had something similar happen when I had really severe chemical sensitivity. I was wearing a paint respirator for over a year and was very restricted - long story...Anyway I felt so alone and after many types of treatments; I still couldn't breath in most places. I slumped to the floor one day and was so despairing I couldn't see any way to move forward. I prayed. I don't remember what I prayed but shortly after I came across a magazine I wouldn't normally read and opened it right to an article about vitamin c and chemical sensitivity. Deep down in side everything came together because I had been craving the white layer right underneath the lemon peel (I would sit and gnaw on it) and somehow that came together in my mind with the C. I started with the powder form and as I reached very high doses I began to have relief. I was a miracle and I knew it. Thanks for sharing - and letting me share... Anita T. Guest guest
I can relate to your palpalations and panic attacks Doug, but they all seemed to calm down for me when I sold my business, relieved my stress levels and got off caffiene. What I am bewildered with now is the sudden loss of hair so dramatically.I too have used dyes in the past and still do and I'm just wondering what other deficiency might be causing it. I am taking biotin and all the recommended vitamins, so I really could use the experience of others in the group here. Thanks ! Lyle... > 145/90 isn't TOO high.
