target BMI calories

Hi everbody,

I am quite newbie about CRON. I experience CRON last six months. I lost 25 pound since I started.

My set point dropped 180 lbs to 154 lbs. My calorie intake is 1800 kcal but it seems that I set at 154 lbs.

My wonder is how I can calculate target BMI calories correctly. I think if 1800 kcal were correct number, my weight should keep decreasing.

My target is 130-140 lbs. (Note: I tried http://www.wvda.org/calcs/fcals.htm today, I found that my calorie intake should be 1786). Maybe I will lost weight very gradually, I dont know..

My other question is about fat, carb, protein balance. I am a vegan and my diet is based on 3 rules:

Calories from fat should be %10 of total calorie

Calories from carb should be %80 of total calorie

Calories from protein should be %10 of total calorie

I also wonder CRON diet suggests/implies such rules. If so, what are the figures?

Haken: welcome to the group! If you have lost 25 pounds in the last 6

months, you are doing just fine. You wouldn't want to lose any faster.

Sometimes we reach " plateaus " and stop losing for awhile. This can last as

long as 3 months or so.

So just keep plugging away. Slow and steady is the best way to lose. Be

sure and read our files for more information.
