I'm only a week or so into CRONING, but here is where I'm placing my

emphasis:

Daily: nonfat plain yogurt, blueberries, veggie soups, broccoli,

kale, apples.

Weekly: salmon, tuna, lettuce, lentils, brown rice, Omega 3 eggs,

sweet potatoes

Infrequently: sugar free Jello, Edy's frozen fruit bars

I suspect that as I get more " into " CRONING that my dietary choices

will expand.

Bernie: you state " lettuce " under your weekly intake. May I suggest you

make that Romaine (not iceberg which has hardly any nutrients) which is a

superior lettuce? Also the markets now sell " spring mix " which is a mixture

of romaine, spinach and other wonderful lettuces - something that not so

long ago you couldn't get so conveniently all in one pack. This could

either stand on its' own as a salad or be the foundation for adding other

wonderful things ssuch as red or white onion, radish, sprouts, nuts, and/or

mung beans (see the archives for a discussion on these) as examples.
