Guest guest
Not enough. Most of the studies showing protection from dementia by vitamin E used levels (400-1000 IU) magnitudes above what one can obtain via a good diet. >From: Francesca Skelton <fskelton@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: [ ] C & E (was melatonin may lower BP) >Date: Tue, 20 Jan 2004 10:49:51 -0500 > >Chris: don't you think a typical CRONIE diet gives ample amts of C and E? >(E in whole grains, leafy greens, eggs, and I think, nuts) > > >on 1/20/2004 10:35 AM, Dowling at dowlic@... wrote: > > > Saw the news item regarding melatonin. Guest guest
I appreciate this info. I'm putting my husband on E. His mother had Alzheimer's (although she didn't get it til she was 90 yrs old). As for me, I'm not sure i need it for this purpose as Alzheimers doesn't run in my family. But of course, if we're all going to live to be over 100 (?), perhaps I need the extra insurance :-)). on 1/20/2004 1:59 PM, Dowling at dowlic@... wrote: > Not enough.
