Guest guest
Hi Ellen, I have only gotten the ice cream to work using the bag and ice trick. I tried it in a conventional ice cream maker, and it just didn't work. Guest guest
Hello Ellen and Jecca, We have a neat little unit that I bought for my son years ago. It is called Frostie Treat (Biagiante') automatic ice cream maker. We tried making some ice cream using Bee's Egg Drink recipe plus our own additions and it worked great! It's a small battery operated machine that you just fill and pop into your freezer. When it gets to the right temperature it starts churning away. It's a little noisy so you can hear when it starts going. It doesn't take long and you have yummy ice cream! Our machine was made by Lentek and they went out of business, but Koolatron bought them out and they sell the Double Treat ice cream maker which works just like the one we have. You can check it out here online: http://koolatrononline.stores..net/doubletreat.html Online it costs $24.99 plus $5.95 shipping. If you call them and order it costs $19.99 plus $5.95 shipping. Better yet on amazon.com they have them for $16.99. They may even have them at Walmart or another store near you. Check around you may find even a better price. Hope this helps! :-) Debra NW " ekhillgardner " <ellen2@...> wrote: " jeccajay " <jeccajay@> wrote: Hi Ellen, I have only gotten the ice cream to work using the bag and ice trick.
