Guest guest
On second thoughts there must be something wrong with my arithmetic. But I can't figure out what! Suggestions? Guest guest
On third thoughts: If the two minutes per calorie is correct, then eating an extra 700 calories per day shortens one's life by 1400 minutes. But there only are 1440 minutes in a day. Interesting? Rodney. > > Hi folks: > > > > Here's a thought (probably not original?). Guest guest
Or, to put it another way: Foregoing 700 calories a day extends your life by almost one day each day you do it - very approximately. Guest guest
First I have to say that as an engineer, I really appreciate Katrina's calculations. They are a true work of art. Katrina, congratulations on your deserved position in the hall of fame! That being said, I hope Rodney is right--I mean think about it. Every day I forego 700 calories, I live another day THAT MEANS I'LL NEVER DIE!!!!
