Bernie: We have several examples in the files on typical foods/menus. Also

i once had to detail a " typical " day to a reporter. Here's what I said:

Breakfast: bowl of Cheerios with skim milk and strawberries or blueberries.

Or oatmeal and strawberries or blueberries

Lunch: raw veggiessalad (romaine lettuce, onion, red pepper, tomato, red

cabbage, broccoli sprouts,( and any other fresh veggies I have on hand),

with 3 or 4 oz canned salmon

Snack: cup of coffee with skim milk and artifical sweetner/ Chessie Poo

cake (in the recipe files) topped with fat free plain yogurt and sprinkled

with Brewer's Yeast.

Dinner: 4 oz either poultry or fish, mixed steamed vegetables (such as

brussel sprouts, broccoli, green beans cauliflower). If very hungry I'll

add a small redskin potato topped with an omega 3 spread.

Snack: small bowl of mixed fresh fruit (3 or 4 different fruits) salad

topped with ff yogurt and brewer's yeast. A few mixed nuts.

All cooking is either steamed or sauteed with extra-virgin olive oil as the

" fat " used.

Your lunch concoction sounds delicious.

BTW I too use garlic and lemon liberally. And often use tomato paste as a

flavoring, dressing, soup base etc.

Every once in a while we have whole wheat pasta with tomato paste/sauce and

cooked veggies such as squash/spinach/kale mixed into the sauce.

Another favorite is omelets made with salza, mushrooms, various peppers,

onions etc. Salza which is practically zilch calories is a wonderful food

and delicious.
