Guest guest Posted December 17, 2003 Report Share Posted December 17, 2003 'tis the eating/party season. One of the best pieces of advice that I heard recently was: EAT/SNACK BEFORE THE PARTY. If you eat before you go (or if you're at work, have something like a REBAR or anything to take the edge off your hunger) you'll be less likely to stuff all the unhealthy party foods down the gullet. At least, you'll certainly eat a lot less. The other piece of good advice I recently heard was to try to focus on the REASON for the party being to get together and socialize with old friends and family and not for the purpose of EATING.
